I am saddened to inform you that due to the expected inclement weather Saturday morning I am cancelling the parade.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I would like to move it to the first Saturday of December next year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You are invited to participate in this CHRISTMAS event as we celebrate Christmas in Westover<\/em><\/strong>. There is no entry fee. You can enter a float, a car, or your group may even consider walking. Fill out the form and return it by email at clerk@westoveralabama.org<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Parade Details<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

To ensure that things run smoothly and that everyone has an enjoyable day, please note the following information:

All Staging will take place on at the Mt. Tabor Annex Building and enter the driveway at the West end of Mt. Tabor Cemetery.

Staging of all Entries will begin at 8:30 a.m. \u2013 directional signs will be placed at intersection.

Plan To Arrive NO Later than 9:30 a.m. at the Staging Area

The Parade will begin promptly at 10:00 a.m.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
\n\n\n\n
  • Spectators are encouraged to park along Old Hwy 280 (County Road 280) between County Road 55 and City Hall to watch the parade.<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n
    • Participants are allowed to share CANDY with the crowd!<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n
      • We ask that you throw the candy into the crowd, away from the moving vehicles participating in the parade, and<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n

        PLEASE DO NOT BRING CANDY WITH PEANUTS<\/em>.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
